Oregon Small Business Development Center Partners with U.S. Small Business Administration

Oregon SBDC provides advising, training, online courses and resources for businesses throughout the state.

Small business is a driver of Oregon’s economic success, enriching our communities and providing jobs throughout the state. Oregon’s SBDC services anyone who owns or operates a business or is planning to start a business. They work with businesses in every industry and at every stage of growth, from startups to well-established companies, from one employee to 500. In addition to no-cost confidential advising, they offer training and online courses that cover a wide range of business topics.

In Partnership with the Oregon Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, the U.S Small Business Administration is bringing together local lenders to discuss commercial lending options for small businesses in your area.

On June 21st from 11AM-12PM at the Lane Community College Eugene Downtown Campus, small business owners can join the free discussion panel dedicated to answering your small business financing questions.

Topics include:

  • The lending landscape and what options are best for your business finance needs.
  • What an organization can do today to secure small business financing.
  • The most important criteria lenders look for when evaluating a loan.
  • Real-life case studies of businesses
  • How they successfully presented their business case or overcame barriers.
  • Steps a business owner can take to be more ‘bankable.’
Join the Lane Community College Small Business Development Center in partnership with the Eugene Chamber of Commerce and Onward Eugene for a discussion about SBA Loans, lending criteria, common financing barriers, and how to get started with an SBA loan. The panel includes Ashely Horner from Summit Bank and Sandra Easdale from Lane Council of Governments (LCOG).
